For some weeks now, if not months I have heard the sweet and yet strong voice of God Himself in my heart. He says to me quite simply 'I give you my Troth' and then: 'You are betrothed to me.' There is a strong sense of belonging to The Lord forever. A deep rest and relief are in those words which anchor me. Whatever is going on in my day I know that I have a righteous rest because My Bridgegroom Saviour has a strong forever love for me which is eternal, the kind of love which never ever fails. Today I found the scripture which matches the words heard over many weeks:
'And I will betroth you to me forever. I will betroth you to me in righteousness and in justice, in steadfast love and in mercy. I will betroth you to me in faithfulness. And you shall know the Lord.' HOSEA
His words have literally kept me moving forward and helped me be at peace. I pray that you also will have a knowledge of His promise to you. That you would know you can belong to Jesus, who is Messiah and trust His words. He has given all that you need to be able to trust, forgive and be forgiven. He has enabled you to repent and turn away from all chaos, evil and unrighteous behaviour to become His spotless bride. Together we are His.
